“Or full back” – Chelsea attacker asked on what position is his best to play in | OneFootball

A Chelsea attacker has been asked what position is his best one to play in and his answer shows really good desire.

Some players in the modern game will only want to play in a certain position and become unhappy when they are asked to play in other areas of the pitch. Others believe that they are only good in certain positions. The issue is though that in today’s game, many coaches prefer players who can play and do a good job in a number of different roles and positions on the pitch.

Many Chelsea players have had to play in different positions under Enzo Maresca, including natural winger Tyrique George.

He has been playing and filling in as a striker for Chelsea so far this season, even though it still looks likely that he will be sold in the January transfer window.

It was reported at the start of the summer that it would be best if George left Chelsea for his own development. But any move away collapsed, including a proposed late permanent move to Premier League side Fulham.

The attacker was asked where he likes to play and responded:

“I don’t mind playing as a nine. I just want to get on the pitch, so if it’s as a striker or full-back, I’m happy to be on the pitch. I’m quite a creative player. I like to be in the pockets and shoot.”

Good attitude

He just wants to get minutes and doesn’t care where he plays to get them, I do like that kind of attitude in football.

I personally don’t think he’s a very good 9 and is a much better winger, but he does score goals to be fair to him.
