Monaco will travel to Strasbourg for the Coupe de France last 16 on Thursday with a depleted squad after Sébastien Pocognoli confirmed further absences.

According to Nice-Matin, Kassoum Ouattara faces several weeks out with a calf injury.

Ansu Fati, who went off against Rennes with a calf problem, will not make the trip to Alsace, though his issue is viewed as short term.

Christian Mawissa and Wout Faes joined the start of Wednesday’s group session but are not ready to return. Faes is recovering from an ankle issue, while Mawissa has a recurring hamstring problem and still has a couple of steps to clear as precautions are taken to avoid a recurrence.

The coach did not address Folarin Balogun, injured against Rennes, but the American took part in training on Wednesday. New signing Simon Adingra should be included if everything is in order.
