Simon Adingra is eligible to face RC Strasbourg Alsace on Thursday night, following his transfer deadline day move from Sunderland to AS Monaco.
The Ivory Coast international will make the trip to Alsace, although he is not expected to start. That is despite the absence of another forward, Ansu Fati, due to injury. The Spaniard’s calf injury is not serious, however, and he is expected back soon.
Folarin Balogun also came off with an injury during the win over Stade Rennais, and he could be involved against Strasbourg in the Coupe de France. However, it is Mika Biereth who is the favourite to lead the line for Monaco.
Sébastien Pocognoli continues to contend with many absentees, with the likes of Lukas Hradecky, Eric Dier, Kassoum Ouattara, Mohammed Salisu, Christian Mawissa, Wout Faes, Takumi Minamino, and Paul Pogba all out.
Philipp Kohn; Thilo Kehrer, Denis Zakaria, Jordan Teze; Caio Henrique, Mamadou Coulibaly, Lamine Camara, Vanderson; Aleksandr Golovin, Mika Biereth, Maghnes Akliouche.
