Palmeiras advance Vitinho exit to Santa Clara | OneFootball

According to Nosso Palestra, Palmeiras have moved to advance the departure of academy forward Vitinho to Portuguese side Santa Clara.

The 20-year-old has a deal until the end of 2026 but is expected to rescind it and sign permanently in Portugal, with Palmeiras retaining a percentage for any future sale.

Vitinho spent two seasons on loan at Novorizontino, yet played only 28 minutes because of two knee surgeries.

Signed from Grêmio Novorizontino in 2020, he won the Copinha in 2022 and 2023, the Campeonato Brasileiro Sub-20 and Copa do Brasil Sub-20 in 2022, and the Paulista Sub-20 in 2020 and 2021.

He has 89 official appearances and 16 goals for Palmeiras, including two senior outings in the closing rounds of the 2021 Brasileiro. He also filled in at left-back during part of 2021.

In 2023, with Valerenga’s first team in Norway, he featured in only five matches as the side finished third from bottom in the league.
