Pedri names 17-year-old La Masia talent as the Barcelona youth player who has impressed him most | OneFootball

Pedri Gonzalez has always been a highly impressive player ever since his move to FC Barcelona, but over the last two seasons, his importance for the Blaugrana team has increased severalfold, and he is currently one of the most important players for Hansi Flick.

During this international break, he has been unable to play for the Spanish national side, as he is recovering from a distal hamstring tear in the left leg.

However, as Mundo Deportivo has reported, he was still able to appear in an interview with the YouTube channel Buyer Brothers, in which he answered some interesting questions.

One such question was regarding the La Masia talent who has impressed him the most, and Pedri had a clear answer in mind:

“The one I like the most is Dro. He’s very good, has a lot of quality. It seems effortless for him to do things. He’s very good. He’s from 2008 (generation).”

Similarly, when asked to name one player whom he would sign for Barcelona, the Canarian had a fellow midfielder in mind:

“A player I really like is Musiala. Right now he’s injured, but he will recover. He’s very good.”

There is no doubt that Dro, who has recently made his La Liga debut, has been a highly impressive talent, and the Barcelona fans have already gotten a glimpse of his game from his appearances for the first team.

Now, with Pedri’s backing, the fans would be even more eager to see the youngster officially promoted to the first team, and grow into one of the best players in the world in the years to come.
