Pierre Ferracci and Jean-Marc Gallot address Paris FC squad before Coupe de France tie

Pierre Ferracci and Jean-Marc Gallot have addressed Paris FC’s players ahead of Saturday’s Coupe de France tie, aiming to calm nerves amid a poor Ligue 1 run.

According to L'Équipe, the president and chief executive briefly met the squad on Tuesday around training to offer reassurance.

Paris FC face Raon-l'Etape (R2) in the last 64. They have not won in Ligue 1 since 1 November, when they beat Monaco 1-0.

Their last five league matches have brought two draws and three defeats, including a heavy 0-3 home loss to Toulouse on Saturday.

The pair told players that difficult spells can occur over a season, and urged them to regroup and be wary of Saturday’s opponents, with the Coupe de France often producing surprises.
