Raul Jimenez has hinted at a sensational Molineux return after Wolves’ final home game against Fulham. “Why not? There is always a possibility. Let’s see. It would be nice, more after today, let’s see,” he said, speaking to ExpressAndStar.com, which understands early conversations have taken place over a potential comeback.
Asked if a move could happen this summer, he added: “I don’t know, maybe. But I don’t know.”
The Wolves cult hero is the club’s record Premier League scorer with 40 league goals from a five-year spell. He left in 2023 with 57 in all competitions, and has since struck 28 in almost 100 outings for Fulham.
Supporters flooded social media, with some pleading “please come home” and urging him to “finish the story”. Others felt a reunion would lift the club after a poor campaign.
There was pushback too, with concerns over the 35-year-old’s age and calls to target younger, Championship-proven forwards capable of playing 44 games. Some argued he could still offer experience and goals at that level, even if he is past his peak.
