Massimiliano Canzi and Barbara Bonansea spoke to the press following Juventus Women's away draw against Wolfsburg - the first leg of the qualifying play-offs for the quarter-finals of the UEFA Women's Champions League.

MASSIMILIANO CANZI

"There's a bitter taste in our mouths, of course: we came within a whisker of victory, we could have certainly done better on the final play of the game, but if you analyse the match, a draw is probably the fairest result. That's football, it can happen, and I'm happy with my players' performance against such a strong team. Of course, having come within a whisker of victory, we thought we'd walk away with that result, but we'll have to be good at analysing this draw properly. In the return match, I definitely want to see the same approach as today, the same personality, and try to take advantage of the fact that it'll be played in our stadium, in front of our fans: I'm sure that with that atmosphere, it will be a different match."

BARBARA BONANSEA

"We're certainly disappointed we couldn't get the win, but we know how things go on the pitch: anything can happen right up until the last minute. However, we're happy with the game we played; we played a great match, and we could have even scored another goal in the first half. I think we should be proud of what we achieved today. Our attitude and demeanour were right, and we'll have to replicate that in the return match at home in a week. I expect a tough match at the Allianz Stadium as well, it won't be easy, but our goal will be to try to win and secure qualification."
