PSG captured their first-ever UEFA Champions League title in emphatic style during the 2024-25 season, dismantling Inter Milan 5-0 at Allianz Arena. Ousmane Dembélé led the charge with a pair of assists in a commanding team performance.
The Ligue 1 champions wasted no time asserting control, with Achraf Hakimi and Désiré Doué both scoring in the first half to put PSG up 2-0 at the break. After halftime, Luis Enrique’s squad only grew more dominant.
Doué netted his second of the night, while Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Senny Mayulu added goals of their own to cap off a historic night and finally bring the long-awaited European trophy to the French capital.

The race for this year’s Ballon d’Or will likely come down to Dembélé and Barcelona standout Lamine Yamal. While the teenager has impressed on the domestic stage, Dembélé’s Champions League triumph—along with his strong individual performances—gives him a major edge.
In an interview with Téléfoot, Lucas Hernandez made it clear he’s fully backing PSG’s top scorer in the Ballon d’Or race against Lamine Yamal. The PSG defender believes Dembélé deserves the award after an outstanding season and says he’ll defend him with everything he has.
“Am I going to sing ‘Ousmane Ballon d’Or’ with DJ Snake? Of course,” Hernandez said (h/t Le10Sport). “I’ll be the first. Before DJ Snake, I’m the one who’s going to sing it. He had a fantastic season, on every level.
“He made a difference in front of goal, in the build-up, and was the first to defend. He’s an exceptional player. And I think, on a personal level, no one was better than him this season. I hope people vote for him—he deserves it.”
