PSG predicted XI v Athletic Club: Ousmane Dembélé and Lucas Chevalier out, Nuno Mendes a doubt

Ousmane Dembélé (illness) and Lucas Chevalier (ankle) will both miss Paris Saint-Germain’s UEFA Champions League encounter against Athletic Club on Wednesday night.

The pair have not travelled to Spain. In the absence of Dembélé, Lee Kang-in could lead the line. PSG are also without Lucas Hernandez due to suspension, whilst Lucas Beraldo and Achraf Hakimi also miss out on the fixture. It leaves Luis Enrique short of options at the back. Nuno Mendes suffered a knee injury against Tottenham Hotspur and he remains a doubt for this game.

Should he not start, Warren Zaire-Emery or Senny Mayulu may have to fill in for PSG, whilst moving across Willian Pacho and slotting Ilia Zabarnyi in at centre-back is also an option for the reigning European champions.
