PSG take on Chelsea in the FIFA Club World Cup final this evening bidding to secure a historic quintet.
Luis Enrique’s side are looking to add the Club World Cup to their cabinet of trophies, after sweeping to a domestic treble and maiden Champions League success in 2024/25 to date.
The French champions underlined their status as arguably world football’s finest with a 4-0 thrashing of Real Madrid to reach the final. Victory tonight will crown the Parisians as FIFA’s world champions for the first time.
Chelsea are the opposition at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. The Blues reached the final with a 2-0 win over Fluminense in the last four. Enzo Maresca is hoping to win his second trophy with the West London side, after Europa Conference League success in May.
Luis Enrique is unlikely to make changes from the convincing semi-final win over Real Madrid. Lucas Hernandez and Willian Pacho remain suspended after red cards earlier in the tournament, so Lucas Beraldo should partner Marquinhos in central defence.
Ousmane Dembele returned to the starting side in the semi-final, after an ankle injury had limited his involvement to date.
He scored his 35th goal of what could be a Ballon d’Or-winning season. A fifth trophy of the campaign will improve his case for the crown.
Chelsea face Paris Saint-Germain in the final of the FIFA Club World Cup on Sunday 13th July 2025. Kick-off is 8pm BST.
In the UK, the game will be televised on 5 (formerly known as Channel 5). The fixture can also be streamed via the DAZN website.
