Gazzetta described the Milan performance as ‘slow, sloppy and predictable’ as the Rossoneri conceded ‘too easily’ despite the many young players on the pitch.

Errors in the build-up from Youssouf Fofana and Jashari cost Milan the first two goals.

‘Milan fell apart on all fronts, the team was disconnected between the lines and predictable on the ball’, wrote Gazzetta.

‘For Allegri, these are not encouraging signs ahead of the restart, especially from Estupinan and Fofana.’
