Rafael Leao: 'Je veux ouvrir un nouveau chapitre' after seven seasons at AC Milan

Rafael Leao said: "Je suis fier d'avoir fait partie de l'histoire de l'AC Milan mais je veux ouvrir un nouveau chapitre. Je me sens prêt pour joueur dans un autre Championnat." He was speaking to sport tv on Saturday.

Over seven seasons with AC Milan, the 26-year-old winger has made 289 appearances, scoring 80 goals and supplying 54 assists.

He joined in 2019 after a Ligue 1 season with LOSC, where he scored eight in 26. He won the Scudetto in 2022.

This past campaign under Massimiliano Allegri brought 10 goals and three assists in 31 matches, and Milan missed out on Champions League qualification.

Leao is under contract with AC Milan until 30 June 2028, with a release clause set at 175 million euros.
