Rangers fans decided to walk away after their side went down by three goals within twenty minutes. Russell Martin’s side play their last game at Ibrox before the opening Glasgow Derby at the end of August.

Rangers face St Mirren at the weekend before the return leg midweek; which sets up for an enthralling meet in Govan as Brendan Rodgers’ Champions make the short trip across the city. The optics for Rangers going into this game are not great, especially as a number of fans decided to leave the ground after just twenty minutes.

Brugge were quality when they visited Celtic Park last season. Daizen Maeda scored a wonderful goal and a draw was a fair result but the Belgians were comfortable on the ball and solid in defence. Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers will likely be watching the game this evening before revisiting it as part of his preparations for next weekend’s Glasgow Derby. Celtic will know that they need to get the business done themselves tomorrow in order to secure the riches of Europe’s top competition.
