Laspro, the court-appointed administrator of Corinthians’ Centralised Execution Regime, which oversees about R$190 million in debts, has accepted the club’s explanations for a R$149.2 million accounting gap in February and set out previously undisclosed cash advances.
According to ESPN, Laspro told the court it agreed the amounts behind the discrepancy were non-operational, after Corinthians listed R$64.2 million as revenue valid for the March RCE instalment despite total inflows of R$213.4 million. The club said R$76.9 million in financial operations, R$65.5 million in internal transfers and R$6.8 million from player dealings should not enter the calculation.
Laspro also noted that 20% of revenue from player negotiations must be reserved for reverse auctions that accelerate debt repayment. For February, the set-aside was calculated at R$1.365 million.
The filing disclosed two advances in February, nearly R$47 million from Esportes da Sorte and R$23.75 million of Nike income via a Banco Daycoval operation, totalling R$70.7 million.
For March, Corinthians presented R$66.3 million in operational revenue. A further R$11.8 million was listed as excluded, including R$8.5 million in financial operations and R$3.2 million from player negotiations, of which R$645,000 would be reserved for reverse auctions.
Laspro cautioned the March figures rely solely on the club’s declarations and may be revised if new documents emerge. Should the calculation base change, Corinthians would have to pay any difference with correction.
The submission now awaits a decision from Judge Guilherme Cavalcanti Lamêgo of the São Paulo court overseeing the RCE. He will rule on whether to validate the administrator’s conclusions and recommendations. Previously, the judge had ordered clarifications and warned that a judicial observer or intervener could be appointed if inconsistencies persisted.
