The string of departures of youngsters from Real Madrid is set to continue as more players are expected to move on following in the footsteps of Rafel Obrador, Victor Munoz, Marvel, and Yusi.
Jacobo Ramon, for one, is expected to sign for Como in Italy, in a deal similar to that of Nico Paz from last summer.
And, now, promising Mario Martin is also believed to be on the verge of securing a departure from Real Madrid.
Indeed, according to AS, Getafe are set to confirm the signing of Mario Martin from Real Madrid in the coming days.
Getafe president Angel Torres had previously revealed that there had been an agreement to sign the defensive midfielder who spent the last season on loan at Real Valladolid.
Now, the operation seems to be on the cusp of completion with the La Fabrica graduate set to move on to Coliseum Alfonso Perez.

Martin, 21, has been a part of the Real Madrid academy since 2016. Having risen through the ranks, he became a reliable player for Castilla following his debut in 2021 before making his senior debut in 2023 against Atletico Madrid.
Having made four first-team appearances and featured 77 times for Castilla, Martin left Real Madrid last summer to join Valladolid on a season-long loan deal.
While he became a regular for his loan club, featuring 30 times, his disciplinary record was seen as a concern as he received three red cards.
Having returned to Real Madrid in June, Martin travelled to the USA with the senior team for the FIFA Club World Cup, but did not play any part in the tournament.
Now, despite Valladolid’s relegation, Martin’s performances have earned him another chance in La Liga, this time with Getafe.
