Napoli’s interest in signing Real Madrid sensation Franco Mastantuono has been well documented in recent days, especially with reports stating that the Italian club are ready to spend a fortune on him.

Their interest, seemingly, was for a permanent transfer of the player to Naples and they were willing to shell out up to €50 million in exchange for the same.

Real Madrid and Mastantuono, however, outright denied that possibility, given that both parties see their paths continuing together.

After all, the Argentine star was always an investment for the long term.

A second offer

Now, as relayed by MARCA, Napoli have come out to enquire about Mastantuono’s availability on a loan deal for the ongoing winter transfer window.

Real Madrid, however, slammed the door shut and denied any possibility of the same without a second thought and without even a formal offer being placed on the table.

While the youngster’s start to life at the club has not been ideal, Mastantuono has shown enough to make it clear that he has potential and a future in the Spanish capital.

Pubalgia has kept him out of action for months now, and Xabi Alonso will look to slowly reintegrate him into the dynamics in 2026 with special care towards managing the tricky setback.

A departure, however, is not remotely on the minds of the player or the club.

So far this season, Mastantuono has made ten appearances and seven starts for Real Madrid in La Liga and has one goal to show in that duration. He averages 1.8 shots and 0.7 key passes per game.

He has already established himself as the youngest ever debutant for the Argentine national team and could well make history as their youngest FIFA World Cup debutant should he make the squad. Needless to say, the sky is the limit.
