Following the arrival of Xabi Alonso as the head coach, the Real Madrid creative department has gone through a massive shift.
There has been an increased reliance on Arda Guler and with Jude Bellingham and Franco Mastantuono also fighting for places, the game-time for Brahim Diaz has reduced considerably.
As we near the halfway point of the campaign, Diaz has featured in just over 400 minutes of competitive action, with only three of his 11 appearances in La Liga being starts.
Despite the lack of prominence, a bombshell report from OK Diario suggests that Saudi Arabia are keen on acquiring the services of Brahim Diaz.
In fact, the Middle Eastern nation is prepared to offer Brahim a whopping salary of €120 million spread across four seasons. This translates to €30 million per season, which is higher than any current Real Madrid player.

This is an unprecedented amount Brahim surely wouldn’t earn elsewhere at this point in his career.
Despite that, Brahim doesn’t appear to be keen on leaving Real Madrid anytime soon while the club, too, do not have plans to sell the attacker.
Brahim has shown excellent conduct at Santiago Bernabeu, barely complaining about his role in the team and always being there to grasp an opportunity whenever it comes his way.
Although Diaz will be out for a month or so due to the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations, he remains a pivotal part of the Real Madrid setup.
With the club going through so many injury blows this season, Brahim is simply waiting for the right opportunity to make his mark at the Bernabeu and impress coach Xabi Alonso.
