Atletico Madrid head to the north west of Spain this weekend to take on bottom-placed Real Oviedo in LaLiga.
Diego Simeone’s side will aim to secure the three points and further expand their points gap with the fifth-placed Real Betis.
Oviedo have entirely different motivations as they look to avoid the drop to the Secunda Division.
Real Oviedo manager Guillermo Almada faces a selection crisis with several players unavailable.
David Costas has been sidelined with injury since January 31, while Ovie Ejaria has been absent since December 6, though he completed a major part of team training on Monday and is nearing a return.
Former Manchester United centre-back Eric Bailly is also doubtful due to a muscle issue. Jaime Vazquez is also sidelined with a groin injury.
Rodrigo Mendoza is set to return after serving his suspension, but there are still concerns over the fitness of Nico González and Pablo Barrios, who may both miss out again.
Alexander Sorloth, who hit a hat-trick in the 4-1 Champions League win over Club Brugge, is expected to continue leading the attack, with Julian Alvarez likely to partner him up front.
Ademola Lookman should come back into the side on the wing, while Nahuel Molina is in line to start at right-back, which could see Marcos Llorente moved back into midfield.
Guillermo Almada’s side is anchored to the bottom of LaLiga with just 17 points from 24 matches. Their record of three wins, eight draws and 13 defeats leaves them eight points adrift of safety from 17th-placed Elche, who have 25 points. They secured a 3-3 draw against Real Sociedad in their last match.
Atletico Madrid sit fourth in LaLiga with 48 points from 25 matches, three points behind third-placed Villarreal. Diego Simeone’s side have won three of their last five matches including a convincing 4-1 win against Club Brugge in midweek that saw them progress to the last-16 of the Champions League. Los Colchoneros defeated Espanyol 4-2 in their most recent LaLiga outing on February 21.
Real Oviedo: Escandell; Vidal, Carmo, Calvo, Lopez; Colombatto, Sibo; Hassan, Reina, Chaira; Vinas
Atletico Madrid: Oblak; Molina, Pubill, Hancko, Ruggeri; Simeone, Llorente, Cardoso, Lookman; Sorloth, Alvarez
