Chelsea are still keen on Lyon winger Malick Fofana, but prefer Morgan Rogers and Kenan Yildiz according to reports.
The Blues had a busy summer in which they made six summer signings, five of which were attackers as the front line underwent a major revamp.
Joao Pedro, Jamie Gittens, Alejandro Garnacho, Liam Delap and Facundo Buonanotte all arrived, whilst Nicolas Jackson, Joao Felix, Noni Madueke and Christopher Nkunku left.
Chelsea were linked with Fofana during the summer, but ultimately ended up signing Gittens and Garnacho on the left wing.
There’s a chance Fofana could still be an option for the Blues in 2026, but reportedly they prefer two other attackers over the Belgian.

According to The Daily Briefing Chelsea are still keen on Yildiz and Rogers, and have made the duo a bigger priority than Fofana.
The report adds Chelsea have been contacted over a possible deal for Fofana, but the winger isn’t believed to be their focus right now.
Obviously a deal for Fofana would be much easier than for either Yildiz or Rogers, and it will be interesting to see what route Chelsea decide to pursue in future transfer windows.
Chelsea have previously been linked with Yildiz, and it was even reported in the summer they’d had a bid rejected for the Turkey international.
The 20-year-old is a superb talent, although talks over a new contract for Yildiz have reportedly stalled at this point in time.

Yildiz is predominantly a left winger, but can also play as a number ten, and he has two goals and four assists in eight appearances in all competitions.
Any proposed deal for Yildiz would likely be very expensive, and would rely on him wanting to leave Juventus, which at this stage doesn’t seem particularly likely.
