Serie A pacesetters Inter Milan are reportedly looking to include Yanis Massolin as a makeweight in a deal to sign Sassuolo starlet Tarik Muharemovic. 

According to Gazzetta di Modena via FCInterNews, the Nerazzurri consider including the Frenchman in a player-plus-cash offer for the Bosnian defender.

Tarik Muharemovic remains one of Inter’s top targets heading into the summer transfer window.

Indeed, with several senior defenders set to leave San Siro in the coming months, Beppe Marotta is keen to sign the 23-year-old.

In addition to Matteo Darmian, Stefan de Vrij, and Francesco Acerbi, Alessandro Bastoni could also sever ties with the runaway Serie A leaders.

Inter signed Yanis Massolin from Modena in the final hours of the January transfer window.

However, the French midfielder has stayed at Stadio Alberto Braglia on loan until the end of the season.

Meanwhile, Massolin may never have a chance to feature for the Nerazzurri, as they reportedly plan to use him as a bargaining chip in talks to sign Muharemovic.

Despite drawing attention from Genoa and Torino, Massolin could continue his career at the Mapei Stadium.

Still, it remains uncertain whether Sassuolo would accept Inter’s proposal.
