Sassuolo are reportedly on the verge of signing Domenico Tedesco as their new coach, as he is close to finalising his exit package from Fenerbahce.
The Neroverdi are seeking a new tactician because Fabio Grosso decided to walk away after securing promotion from Serie B and then mid-table safety.
He already has his next role lined up on the bench of Fiorentina, which should be made official over the next few days.

Meanwhile, Sportitalia claim that Tedesco has sorted out the final details of his departure from Fenerbahce, terminating the contract by mutual consent.
The 40-year-old is now ready to sign a two-year deal at Sassuolo, with an option for a third season.
Although he was born in Italy, Tedesco moved to Germany at a young age with his family and started his coaching career there at the Stuttgart and Hoffenheim youth academies.
His first senior job was at Erzgebirge Aue in 2017, moving on through Schalke 04, Spartak Moscow, RB Leipzig and from 2023-25 he was the national team coach of Belgium.
Tedesco was appointed to Fenerbahce last summer, but that experience is already over after finishing runners-up to rivals Galatasaray, despite overseeing 26 wins, 12 draws and seven defeats overall.
