Santos resumed training on Tuesday as they began preparations for the 10 March meeting with Mirassol at Maião, in the fifth round of the Campeonato Brasileiro. According to Diario Do Peixe, the session featured a recent arrival in the group.
The main development was the inclusion of Uruguayan midfielder Christian Oliva, unveiled on Saturday. He trained with the squad and, after more than a week of field work, now joins officially following confirmation of his signing.
On the grass, coach Juan Pablo Vojvoda led technical and tactical drills with the full squad available.
Robinho Jr. took part alongside team-mates, having recently been involved in an impasse between the club and his representatives.
Santos are also awaiting centre-back Lucas Veríssimo, announced as a reinforcement on Tuesday. He remains in Qatar, which is facing an emergency situation amid the conflict in the Middle East, and needs clearance before travelling to Brazil.
