Roma to interrupt Leon Bailey’s loan

The first few months haven’t been exciting (between physical problems and poor performances), but Roma is now moving toward ending his loan.

According to the Daily Mail, the Giallorossi intend to cancel his loan to return him to Aston Villa as soon as possible, thus freeing up a slot for the attacking signings sporting director Massara is working on.

The Jamaican, who arrived in the summer to bring creativity and goals to a struggling department, has yet to score for the Giallorossi (aside from the offside goal against Celtic) and has only recorded one assist in 10 appearances between Serie A and the Europa League.
