According to L'Équipe, Marseille terminated the 30-year-old goalkeeper’s contract on Tuesday, after which he signed for the La Liga side, who sit 12th.

Blanco suffered an ankle injury in summer 2024, then was sidelined as the club no longer counted on him.
The former Celta Vigo keeper made only 12 appearances in all competitions for OM.
His last competitive outing came on 18 February 2024, a 1-0 win against Brest.
