Benfica, led by Rui Costa, are preparing to move on new deals for José Neto and Daniel Banajaqui, with Anísio Cabral’s extension expected shortly.

Record writes that the pair are likely to receive proposals mirroring those given to the striker, with contracts running to summer 2031 and release clauses of 60 million euros.

As with Cabral, Benfica would only make the renewals official once both players turn 18. José Neto turns 18 on 19 April, and Daniel Banajaqui on 24 March.

The club are also studying extensions for other youngsters who featured in Portugal’s Under-17 World Cup-winning squad.

This season, Neto has played 23 competitive matches for Benfica, valued at three million euros. His appearances include eight in Liga Portugal Betclic, eight in Liga Portugal Meu Super, four in the UEFA Youth League, one in Liga Portugal Betclic, one in the Champions League and one in the Campeonato Nacional sub-19. Across 1,463 minutes he has one goal and four assists.
