Samuel Dahl is enjoying life at Benfica after his loan move from Roma in January.
The Swedish full-back recounted his experience in Portugal in an interview with Gianlucadimarzio.com.
“Things are going well, since day one I have always been happy at Benfica,” he remarked.
“I have a lot of positive people around me. The most important thing, however, are the minutes on the pitch, and Benfica is giving them to me. In Lisbon I play regularly and I am really satisfied.”
“It’s hard to say if Benfica is a step forward, because Roma is a huge club. In Europe, Roma is always competitive and aims to win.
“The difference, perhaps, is that Benfica aims to win trophies every year, while Roma has to deal with great competition in Serie A, with many clubs fighting for the top positions.”
“Will I return to Roma? The two clubs will decide in the summer, we’ll see what happens. There are many interesting places in the world of football, and you never know what the future holds.”
“I don’t rule out anything, not even a return to Rome. Benfica, Rome or other destinations: everything is possible.”
