There were two draws for Scandinavian nations with Eintracht players to kick off the weekend’s action in World Cup qualifying. Denmark and Rasmus Kristensen were held to a goalless draw by Scotland on the first matchday in Group C, while Sweden drew 2-2 in Slovenia in their opening fixture in Group B.
Switzerland have seized top spot in Group B thanks to a 4-0 win over Kosovo. Aurèle Amenda didn’t feature for the Nati. Meanwhile, Elias Baum made his third appearance for the German U21 team following his debut at the European Championship in June. The 19-year-old started at right-back in the 2-0 friendly victory over Albania.
Due to a traffic accident involving the bus carrying the Luxembourg U21 team, Friday evening's European Championship qualifier against France, featuring Jean-Mattéo Bahoya, has been postponed until 3 October 2026.
One friendly and three qualifiers
