A scout believes that Chelsea will sell a player with 5 Premier League appearances in the January transfer window.
As we approach the January window now, it will become a time where clubs will be looking to get some deals done to improve their squads. January will never be as busy as the summer for all clubs, but it is a chance to do some deals.
Chelsea are unlikely to be doing anything too mad in the winter window but there are some players who could get sold or loaned out.
Attacker Tyrique George is one of them, having been close to leaving the club in the summer window but ended up staying. I assume a lot of the reason he stayed was down to the injury to Liam Delap, with George having covered as a 9 a lot this season for Enzo Maresca – making 5 Premier League appearances already this season.
It was reported at the start of the summer that it would be best if George left Chelsea for his own development. But any move away collapsed, including a proposed late permanent move to Premier League side Fulham.

With Liam Delap expected back, George is now likely to be sold in the January window.
That is according to former Man United and Blackburn chief scout Mick Brown, who remains very well-connected within the game, as he exclusively told Football Insider that the Blues are planning to entertain offers for the 19-year-old.
“There was a lot of interest in George during the summer,” he said.
“He’s featured quite regularly for Chelsea over the last couple of years, but I’m not sure the manager is completely convinced by him.
“If he wants to be starting games regularly, he has to prove to the manager that he’s capable of doing that, and I don’t think he’s done that for Chelsea this season.
“Especially when you consider the other wide players they’ve got in the squad, they have to decide which ones they want to be part of the squad long-term.
“I think if an offer comes in during the January transfer window, they’ll be prepared to let him go because they’ve got plenty of cover out wide already.
“Those clubs who wanted him during the summer, I don’t see any reason why that interest would have faded, so they will be prepared to reignite that interest.”
