Sevilla submit loan bid for Elye Wahi as Nice talks continue

Sevilla have submitted a loan offer with an option to buy for Elye Wahi, with Eintracht Frankfurt also negotiating with OGC Nice, according to L'Équipe.

There is now little doubt the 22-year-old, contracted until 2030, will leave this winter. Nice have been keen for weeks and pushed talks in recent days, yet no agreement exists with the club or the player.

Wahi has already discussed a possible move to the south of France with Franck Haise and senior figures at Nice. He has scored one goal in 14 appearances this season in all competitions.

Nice are not certain to win the race as Sevilla have advanced quickly. The figure has not been disclosed, but Frankfurt’s hierarchy view it as high.

Negotiations are expected to continue between Sevilla and Frankfurt, and likewise with Nice.
