Khadija 'Bunny' Shaw and Kerstin Casparij have been nominated for November's PFA WSL Fans' Player of the Month award.

The duo were key figures in a memorable month for the Blues, which saw us maintain a 100% record in the WSL.

Wins over West Ham United, Everton and Manchester United propelled Andrée Jeglertz’s side to top spot heading into the November international break, extending our winning league run to eight in the process.

Shaw grabbed two goals across November, first by heading home the winner against Everton at Goodison Park.

She then added to her tally with our second in the Manchester derby, which City eventually won 3-0 at the Etihad Stadium.

The Jamaican, winner of the last two WSL Golden Boots, once again leads the scoring charts this season, with six goals to her name already.

Casparij, meanwhile, continued her excellent start to the season with two assists in that derby victory.

Her six goal involvements is double that of any other defender in the WSL this season, and she was for those performances with the WSL Player of the Month award earlier this month.

Our flying full-back has worn the captain’s armband during Alex Greenwood’s injury lay-off and continues to develop into a key figure on and off the pitch at City.

Shaw and Casparij are up for the award alongside Everton’s Kelly Gago, Chelsea’s Alyssa Thompson, Brighton’s Kiko Seike and London City Lionesses forward Freya Godfrey.
