Errea have been the Blades' kit partner for the last four seasons, but the South Yorkshire outfit are now set to embark on a new chapter in that regard.

Chris Wilder's men have endured a roller coaster of a campaign, but they appear set to land a top-half finish in the Championship, following successive wins over Hull City and Watford.

The Blades will fancy their chances of getting the better of Blackburn Rovers and Preston North End in their next two games, before travelling to play-off chasers Derby County on the last day of the campaign.

Sheffield United's kits have been provided by Errea in both the Premier League and the Championship, while the Bramall Lane club are plotting a significantly more successful promotion push next term.

Wilder has stated his intentions to oversee a rebuild this summer, so the South Yorkshire outfit can be expected to complete several deals in the transfer market.

Meanwhile, the Sheffield Star have revealed that the Blades are lining up a kit deal with Adidas ahead of the 2026/27 Championship campaign.

The report added that the globally renowned German sportswear company are keen to work with Sheffield United once again, if the deal works for both parties.

Adidas supplied the Blades' kits between 2014 and 2022, before being replaced by Errea, while the South Yorkshire club are keen for their new shirts to be on sale to supporters by the summer.

The Bramall Lane club enjoyed some of the greatest moments of their recent history while sporting the three stripes, including their League One title triumph in 2016/17.

United subsequently earned promotion from the Championship to the Premier League in 2019, and finished ninth in the top flight just a year on from that feat.

Sheffield United set for major transfer calls this summer

The majority of Sheffield United supporters will be pleased by the news that Adidas are set to return as their kit supplier, as the German giants are synonymous with more successful times at Bramall Lane.

Meanwhile, having reached the Championship play-off final just last term, the Blades began the current campaign with aspirations of securing a Premier League return at the first time of asking.

However, the decision to part company with Wilder last summer and replace him with Ruben Selles proved to be a woeful choice, as they lost all six of their league games under the 42-year-old's stewardship.

The Bramall Lane side have still struggled for consistency since Wilder's return, though, so they have plenty of major calls to make in the transfer market ahead of next term.

Reporting via Patreon, Alan Nixon revealed that Sheffield United are preparing to offload Gustavo Hamer and Sydie Peck, and they would have to replace both star midfielders.

Hamer has provided his quality once again this season by scoring four goals and 11 assists, but cashing in on the Dutchman and Peck would help Wilder invest elsewhere in his squad.
