Brighton v Nottm Forest - Seagulls not out of the woods yet

Sunday, 14:00

OneFootball Videos

Vítor Pereira has made a great start at Nottingham Forest.

His first game was a trip to Fenerbahce in the Europa League - talk about a baptism of fire - but Pereira passed with flying colours.

Forest won 3-0 and completely dominated in Turkiye. Despite a narrow defeat in the second leg, they're into the round of 16 on the continent.

They were back to domestic duty in between those clashes hosting Liverpool and were desperately unlucky not to get something from that fixture.

Forest outshot the Reds 18-10 but were wasteful, Liverpool took their chance to nick three points deep into stoppage time.

Nonetheless, three games in and Pereira looks to have improved Forest and I think they are a bet to win against Brighton at 3.65 with the Exchange.

The Seagulls ended a run of six without a win with their 2-0 victory at Brentford last weekend. Form which has seen the South Coasters sleepwalk towards the relegation zone.

Fulham v Tottenham - Go for goals

Sunday, 14:00Live on Sky Sports

At 1.78 with the Betfair Exchange, over 2.5 goals has to be the bet at Craven Cottage.

Fulham's Premier League games have averaged 2.92 goals, Tottenham's have averaged 2.88. Of their 27 matches, 59% of the Cottagers have seen this bet click, 67% for Spurs. At Craven Cottage, eight of Fulham's 13 fixtures have seen at least three goals, nine of Tottenham's 12 away games have seen more than two goals scored.

You get the gist. I was expecting closer to 4/6 for overs this weekend.

Manchester United v Crystal Palace - Corners the value

Sunday, 14:00

Manchester United are back.

They're unbeaten in six league games, winning five, under Michael Carrick. An incredible feat considering they have played Manchester City and Arsenal in that period.

There's been a sprinkling of late drama across this sample, a couple of screamers and most recently, a bit of grit. Just like the good ol' days.

One thing there hasn't been much of though is corners.

I noticed it ahead of the Everton game, United are getting battered on the corner count.

All told, Manchester United have had 10 corners under Carrick and conceded 37, the only side not to beat them in the corner count was the 10 men of Tottenham.

Game state is the biggest factor here and it is worth noting City, Arsenal and Fulham chasing for large periods of their games against United.

But against Everton the Red Devils didn't take the lead until the 71st minute and against West Ham, United didn't equalise until the 90th minute.

At 5/4 backing Crystal Palace to have over 4.5 corners appeals. The only side not to hit this line was the Spurs.

I also cannot resist the 9/1 about Palace having over 7.5 corners as well, just in case.

Arsenal vs Chelsea - Goals, goalscorers and cards

Sunday, 16:30Live on Sky Sports

Over 2.5 goals can be backed at 1.78 with the Betfair Exchange, which looks large at first glance.

Over 2.5 goals is priced 8/11 generally and BTTS is 3/4. These sorts of prices aren't usually available for a game such as this.

Two of the Premier League's big hitters going toe-to-toe in Sunday's prime time slot and we can cheer on goals at a big price. Fine, I will take the bait.

Liam Rosenior took charge of Chelsea after the 1-1 draw at Manchester City and this bet has landed in three quarters of the 12 games since.

His Blues side have scored 30 goals over that period and only kept three clean sheets with Brentford, Pafos and Hull the three sides failing to net.

In the league, Arsenal haven't kept a clean sheet in three games. Against the top five, their only clean sheet in six games came at Old Trafford.

Sticking along similar lines, Joao Pedro has hit a purple patch recently netting seven goals and setting up another across his last nine goals in all competitions.

Strictly in Premier League terms, he's bagged five goals in his last six or seven goals in his last 11 stretching all the way back til before Christmas.

Actually, this isn't a purple patch, Pedro's just having a good season. He's netted 11 times in the top flight and bagged another three in the Champions League.

In goals per 90 terms, that's 0.50 in England and 0.41 across his whole career. Either way, the 10/3 about him to score anytime feels a touch too big.

I also think the red card market is worth a look.

Both teams to get a red card can be backed at 66/1 with the Sportsbook which is an industry best price.

Chelsea top the charts for ill-discipline with six cards in the league and eight in all competitions this season.

The Blues had a man sent off in the reverse and 12 of their 42 games in all competitions have seen at least one team finish a man light.

The reverse was the only game which Arsenal have been involved in to see a red card but there's been signs in recent weeks the Gunners may be starting to feel the pressure.

Letting a two goal lead slip against Wolves, the draw at Brentford, Rice's mistake in the North London derby.
