Eddie Howe's side require a victory against the Toffees to secure UEFA Champions League qualification and the Isak, who missed last week's 1-0 defeat away at Arsenal due to a minor groin injury, returns to the starting XI and is the sole change from the away clash against the Gunners.

Nick Pope, aiming for a fourth consecutive league clean sheet on home soil, continues in-between the sticks while Dan Burn, who extended his contract with his boyhood club until the summer of 2027 on Saturday, will partner Fabian Schär and Sven Botman at the heart of the Magpies' defence.

Jacob Murphy and Tino Livramento are set to occupy the defensive wing-back roles.

Bruno Guimarães, who made his United debut against the Toffees during the 2021/22 campaign, captains the hosts and will be situated in the middle of the park alongside Sandro Tonali.

Anthony Gordon, who joined the Magpies from Everton in January 2023, will make his 150th Premier League appearance today while Harvey Barnes is in line for his 200th English top-flight outing, with the wingers aiming to provide attacking support for Isak, who has scored 23 Premier League goals so far this term.

Kieran Trippier is back among the substitutes after missing Newcastle's respective fixtures against Chelsea and Arsenal while Callum Wilson, who has scored four goals in his last five games against Everton, and William Osula are also named on the bench.

Midfield trio Joe Willock, Sean Longstaff and Lewis Miley are options Howe could deploy from the bench while Emil Krafth and Jamaal Lascelles, aiming to play his first competitive game of football since suffering an anterior cruciate ligament injury in March 2024, are the defensive reinforcements.

Martin Dúbravka is the substitute goalkeeper.
