Dominic Calvert-Lewin has said he has loved every minute of his debut season at Leeds United.

Calvert-Lewin scored a stoppage-time winner as Leeds beat Brighton 1-0 at Elland Road in thePremier League on Sunday.

The forward capitalised on Jan Paul van Hecke's misplaced pass to round Bart Verbruggen and score his 14th goal of the Premier League campaign.

It's been a fine season for the 29-year-old, who arrived at Leeds on a free transfer from Everton last summer.

Calvert-Lewin earned an England recall in March after an absence of five years, and has scored four times in his last five games to boost his chances of making theWorld Cup squad. England manager Thomas Tuchel will name his provisional squad for the 2026 tournament on Friday.

Reflecting on a dream debut season with Leeds, who have secured their top-flight status for another season and climbed to 14th in the table, Calvert-Lewin said he has loved every minute.

"It's a great feeling for everyone involved. All our families are here as is the case for the final home game of the season," he said toSky Sports.

"You've got to hang in there. The pitch dried up a little bit and I think that helped me. It shows the mentality we have got. We want to try and finish as high as possible up the table.

"I've loved every minute of this season. I'm so grateful to play in front of these fans. You see the reception I get when I score, the whole stadium is singing my name."
