Thiago Silva calms fans after derby sub: "Nothing serious"

Substituted in Fluminense's victory over Botafogo in the Brasileirão last Sunday (28), captain Thiago Silva made a post on his social media stating that he has already started treatment to recover from the discomfort he felt in his thigh and reassured the fans.

Thank you all for the messages of support and concern! It was nothing serious. I am already here recovering” - wrote the defender in his social media post.

The Warrior's Team reported that the defender had to leave the field as a precaution and that he will undergo an imaging test on his right thigh. The Tricolor's captain left the field walking normally after giving way to defender Ignácio at 42 minutes into the second half.
