Tottenham are unbeaten in their last three matches under Thomas Frank and, with January approaching, are assessing forward options after a 2-0 win over Brentford and a 3-0 Champions League victory against Slavia Prague. They visit Nottingham Forest on Sunday.
The Sun reports that Spurs face a fight to convince Antoine Semenyo to join next month and are wary they could miss out, with Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal also linked.
Semenyo, 25, joined Bournemouth in 2023 after emerging at Bristol City and loans with Bath City, Newport County and Sunderland. He has 101 appearances and 28 goals for the Cherries, six this season. He recently extended to 2030 and is believed to have a £65 million release clause.
If Semenyo proves unattainable, Brighton’s Yankuba Minteh could be considered. The Seagulls paid £30m to sign the 21-year-old from Newcastle United in 2024.
Capped 19 times by Gambia, Minteh is known for pace and has four assists this term under Fabian Hurzeler. Newcastle signed him from OB in 2023, loaned him to Feyenoord where he scored 11 in 37, then sold him to Brighton, where he has 52 appearances and eight goals.
