UEFA confirmed a €30,000 fine for Tottenham on Monday, citing racist or discriminatory behaviour by supporters during their Champions League league phase match at Eintracht Frankfurt. The case relates to three supporters making Nazi salutes.

The incidents occurred on 28 January, when Spurs won 2-0 in Frankfurt on the eighth and final matchday of the league phase.

The three individuals were identified and have received lifetime bans from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

UEFA also imposed a suspended one-match ban on the sale of away tickets to Spurs fans in European competition, to be activated only if a similar incident occurs within a one-year probation period.

Tottenham will face Atlético Madrid in the Champions League last 16, with the first leg on 10 March in Spain and the return on 18 March in London.
