Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool are among the clubs making some big moves in transfer market. After a slow start, the January window has kicked into gear and there looks set to be some significant deals before the deadline on February 2.

As clubs target new signings, Arsenal are keen on Serbian wonderkid Vasilije Kostov, who is being compared to Barcelona star Pedri, and they have also moved to sign young French talent Ayyoub Bouaddi ahead of Paris Saint-Germain. Chelsea are pushing to sign Jeremy Jacquet from Rennes as they seek a new centre-back, while the Blues also have their sights on Barcelona starlet Dro Fernandez.

Manchester United have reportedly been offered Ruben Loftus-Cheek amid "secret” discussions with a mystery midfield target. They also want Carlos Baleba and Murillo having rejected approaches for Harry Maguire. Tottenham are said to have shock interest in Omar Marmoush as Manchester City aim to complete their move for Marc Guehi, with Crystal Palace facing a fight to keep Jean-Philippe Mateta and Liverpool still eyeing Yan Diomande. Crystal Palace are considering sacking Oliver Glasner.

The Austrian confirmed on Friday he will leave Palace when his contract expires at the end of the season.

But, after Saturday's 2-1 loss at Sunderland, Glasner was outspoken again as Guehi closes in on a move to Manchester City, saying: "I feel we are being abandoned completely.”

Arsenal have made a formal approach to sign talented young Lille midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi ahead of Paris Saint-Germain, according to reports in France.

The Gunners have identified Bouaddi as a transfer target and RMC Sport say they have now moved to explore an agreement for the 18-year-old.

Chelsea and Real Madrid are also in the mix to sign Bouaddi, who is valued at more than £40million.

“I have extended until 2029 and next year is still far away,” Bouaddi said. “I am focused on this season and we have things to fight for.

“As I also said to the president (Olivier Letang), at the end of the season, there will be a choice to be made, and anything can happen. We don’t know what will happen.”

Arsenal transfer talks denied

Arsenal were this week linked with a move for Croatian playmaker Toni Fruk.

The 24-year-old has been turning heads with his performances for HNK Rijeka and his agent was spotted in London, where he was said to have held talks with Arsenal.

Reports in Croatia said negotiations were in “full swing”, with Sport Klub even saying Fruk was expected to sign for Arsenal soon.

But his agent Andy Bara has played down those reports of advanced talks, saying: “Whenever someone sees me in a city, stories start immediately.

“Now, someone saw me in London and here comes this one. There is no story, other than that.

“Many clubs are following Toni Fruk, many are interested, but for now there are no concrete talks or negotiations about a possible transfer of Toni. With any interested club.”
