Tyler Morton has completed a move from Liverpool to Lyon in a deal believed to be worth £15 million.
The young midfielder is expected to sign a five-year deal with the French club, with Liverpool also negotiating a 20% sell-on clause, meaning the Reds would receive a cut if Morton is sold on in the future.
A product of the Reds' academy, Morton made 14 senior appearances for Liverpool. He featured five times last season, although none of those came in the Premier League, as Liverpool went on to claim the title.
Morton also played a key part in England’s Under-21 Euros triumph this summer, coming off the bench in the final to set up the decisive goal against Germany in extra time.
He spent the past two campaigns out on loan in the Championship, racking up 87 appearances across spells with Blackburn Rovers and Hull City.
Morton’s departure follows a busy summer of outgoings at Anfield, with Luis Díaz, Jarell Quansah, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Caoimhín Kelleher, and Nat Phillips also moving on.
