Valencia have gone into camp for Saturday’s LaLiga meeting with RCD Espanyol at Mestalla, with six absentees and Unai Núñez awaiting paperwork.
Carlos Corberán gathered his players at Paterna, then moved to the usual team hotel, according to Superdeporte.
He will be without the suspended José Luis Gayà and Cristian Rivero, plus the injured César Tárrega, Mouctar Diakhaby, Thierry Rendall and Julen Agirrezabala.
There is better news on three who had knocks this week. Dani Raba has shaken off his problem, and centre-backs Copete and Cömert are fit to start.
Six academy players have been drafted in, Vicent Abril, Alejandro Panach, Fontanet, Rubo, Pere Joan and Marcos Navarro.
The big change could be the inclusion of Unai Núñez. He passed his medical this afternoon and, if the transfer arrives in time, he will be named among the substitutes. On arrival at Manises, he said he feels in perfect physical condition.
