Vasco da Gama have turned down an official €31 million offer from Zenit for forward Rayan, and are prepared to wait for the right deal. According to CazéTV, the proposal was worth roughly R$200 million.
The stance reflects confidence in the player’s value. Rayan recently extended his contract to 2028 with a €70 million release clause, worth more than R$450 million.

The plan appears to be to target more competitive markets and bigger European stages.
By rejecting the Russian bid, Vasco signal they will not sell at any price, and any eventual move is likely to be into a major European league.
