Vinicius Junior addresses relationship drama on social media – “I want to apologise” | OneFootball

Real Madrid winger Vinicius Junior has been romantically linked to many women in recent months, and another situation has now surfaced in the last few weeks – and he has now been forced to address it publicly.

Recently, it was reported that Vinicius was seeing Brazilian-American presenter and influencer Virgina Fonseca, who was spotted at the Santiago Bernabeu to take in Real Madrid’s victory over Villarreal. However, their relationship has now ended after the footballer was pictured with a model.

On the back of this, Vinicius has taken to Instagram (via MD) to publicly apologise to Fonseca.

“I am not ashamed to admit that I was careless, that I did not respond in the best possible way and that I let her down.

“We all go through moments that make us reflect and grow. I recently experienced a situation that made me reflect and recognize attitudes that did not represent who I want to be or the type of relationships I want to build.

“Virginia is an incredible woman, an admirable mother and someone I feel enormous affection and respect for. Since we met, he has come to Madrid three times to see me, leaving behind his routine, his commitments and his life just to be with me. I met an admirable mother and an amazing couple.

“For this reason, I want to apologize publicly, with an open heart, because I understood that a true relationship only exists when there is respect, trust and transparency. The idea now is to restart everything. No lies, no fights, no masks. With a lot of love, affection and respect.”

This situation is not the first tricky one that Vinicius has been dealing with in recent months, as there has also been difficulties with his Real Madrid contract negotiations.
