Santos head coach Juan Pablo Vojvoda expects to have Neymar ‘ready’ soon, with the No 10 completing recovery from a left knee arthroscopy performed on 22 December.

According to Diario Do Peixe, Neymar has been working at CT Rei Pelé in double sessions with his personal staff and a physiotherapist.

Vojvoda said Neymar could be available in weeks or even days, and that he is training well. He spoke to him today and noted his fatigue after repeated long days, but added the player is committed to helping his boyhood club.

The expectation is that Neymar could make his first appearance of the season at the end of this month or early February, and in a Kings League appearance he mentioned a February return. He has extended his deal with Santos until the end of this year.

Neymar returned to the club last year and endured an up and down 2025, missing months after three muscle injuries. He still produced 12 goals and six assists in 30 matches.
