And just when it appeared as though Barca were headed for a third successive outing without victory, an unlikely hero emerged…

Thrown on at centre-forward in the absence of both Robert Lewandowski and Ferran Torres, Ronald Araújo netted the game’s winner deep into time added on.

As much sparked chaotic celebrations on the touchline at Montjuïc, as players, staff and fans alike responded to a potentially season-defining strike.

And front and centre in the celebrations were the aforementioned Pedri, and Lamine Yamal.

Benched at the time after being afforded respective starts in the derby, the two Spanish internationals were spotted hugging, before quickly making a dart for the pitch:
