Relegation-threatened West Ham have confirmed the arrival of vital attacking reinforcements to kick-start the January window after completing a £20 million move for Gil Vicente forward Pablo

The 22-year-old Braga-born forward has been one of the brightest stars in the Portuguese top flight across the 2025/26 season, hitting 10 goals in 13 Primeira Liga appearances for Gilistas.
Speaking in his announcement video, Pablo stated: "I am very happy. I will give my all for this Club, leaving everything on the pitch, all my effort, all my dedication."
“The fans really like players who fight for the badge, and I can promise that I will leave every last drop of sweat on the pitch for this Club."
“I want to send a strong message that I have come to prove my worth. I know I am a young player, but I know that at this Club you have to give your all, and we have to give our best for the Club and for our teammates.”

Pablo's capture comes in the wake of German international centre-forward Niclas Füllkrug to complete his move to Italian giant Milan.
The Hammers' newest capture first broke into senior football with Famalicão after spending time in Brazil in the Fluminense academy setup before returning to Portugal and emerging from the Famalicenses youth ranks.
To date, Pablo has netted 20 goals in 90 senior appearances across all competitions.
