Serie A side Roma are interested in West Ham’s Crysencio Summerville and Gian Piero Gasperini’s plans to bolster the club’s attack are becoming clear.

The Giallorossi successfully signed Donyell Malen from Aston Villa and the deal is about to go through on a permanent basis. They could yet fetch more attacking talent from the Premier League.

One advantage could be that the Dutchman has the same agents as Malen. Secondly, the Hammers’ possible relegation can make things easier to sign the 24-year-old, who has sparkled in a disastrous season so far, coming up with vital goal contributions.

As things stand, West Ham demand €40 million to sell Summerville but this price can reduce, depending on possible relegation.

Summerville will have suitors in England

Considering how well he has done at West Ham, Summerville is likely to have many clubs interested within the Premier League. That could well include relegation rivals Tottenham, who have been linked with him quite a bit.

This will make Roma’s task difficult, especially since Spurs have a much bigger financial capacity.
