There is a young talent at the academy called Joshua Abe, who has seemed to attract a lot of hype on social media.
He is a left-footed right-winger, who goes past players with ease and excels in one vs one situations.
As a winger, he is proficient in both scoring goals and creating chances for his teammates with the ability to cut onto his left foot from the right flank and deliver a pass or a shot.
The Secret Scout on X has likened him to Callum Hudson-Odoi but there have been other comparisons made to Savinho and Bukayo Saka as well.
Recently, he competed at the U15 Pape Cup in Magdeburg, Germany, alongside another promising young player in Vincent Joseph.
The duo helped the Reds win the trophy at the in-door football tournament which saw the likes of Ajax, Bayern Munich, Tottenham, PSV and Bayer Leverkusen take part.
Liverpool defeated Union Berlin in the final with Abe scoring the Reds' third goal in a 3-3 draw before he went onto convert his penalty in the shoot-out to ensure his side won 5-3 and took the trophy home. You can watch the whole game on this link here.
Now the Liverpool youngster has also made another major career breakthrough. Abe received his first call-up to England's youth national team earlier this year and made his debut for the U15 team against Turkey.
Starting the game for England, Abe played his role in an 8-0 drubbing of Turkey by scoring on his international debut and registering an assist.
In a back-to-back tie with Turkey, he played 45 minutes in both games and attempted 15 dribbles, completing an impressive eight while making eight progressive runs and creating two shooting chances for his teammates.
Crucially, he showcased his brilliant pressing ability making seven recoveries - six in the opposition's half of the pitch. This is something that Abe does really well, his goal against Union Berlin in the final of the Pape Cup also came as a result of his aggressive press winning possession for Liverpool before taking on a couple of players and burying the ball into the back of the net.
It's a trait that Arne Slot looks for in his attackers, too.
More recently, he has lined up for England's U15 side in the Vlatko Markovic tournament where Cristiano Ronaldo Jr scored his first goals for Portugal at international level.
Abe played three games for England, notably completing four out of five dribbles against Portugal, meanwhile he registered an assist in England's victory against Japan.
In total in five games for England's U15 team, Abe has averaged over 13 dribbles, completing 56% of his attempts while averaging 1.25 goal contributions per 90 minutes.
His explosive speed has been on show as well, with Abe averaging over six progressive runs per 90 minutes as per Wyscout.
These are really impressive numbers for a promising young talent. A talent who has also been at Liverpool for a long time now.
Abe has been at the club since U9 level and signed his first ever contract at Anfield.
Liverpool's very own academy graduate, Trent Alexander-Arnold, was present on the special day in 2018, as shared by Liverpool's official website at the time.
Almost seven years later, Abe is still making great strides in the academy and undoubtedly his ambition will be to follow in the footsteps of players like Alexander-Arnold by reaching the first team.
Being a regular for England's first youth category is a brilliant next step for the youngster, and Liverpool will be delighted with the performance and his ability to make his mark at international level as well.
