Undoubtedly, one of the most memorable days for Chivas Femenil in its journey through the pink circuit is February 9, 2024, because on that day came the biggest goal in the history of Guadalajara in a scandalous 10-2 win over Santos, and with it, several milestones for the memory.
On that Friday afternoon, the field at the Akron Stadium was a real party for Day 7 of the Clausura 2024, which marked the clash between the Rojiblancas and Guerreras to open hostilities in the Liga MX Femenil. Some ChivaHermanos still hadn't settled into their seats when Alicia Cervantes scored the first goal at 2' after a great pass from 'Caro' Jaramillo.
The tapatía steamroller moved forward steadily, closing the score at halftime with an unquestionable 6-0 lead with 4 goals by Cervantes, along with another by 'Gaby' Valenzuela and one more by 'Boyi' Iturbide.
The tone of the second half was no different, as in the Rebaño's first attack, Casandra Montero scored the seventh goal in the 46th minute. Although the Laguneras scored on a couple of occasions, there was little left to do.
Finally, the scoreboard closed as follows: the 'Depredadora' broke yet another record and took advantage of the occasion to set the bar even higher, as she became the first player on the pink circuit to score six times in a single match, when no one else had scored more than four; 'Boyi' scored a brace and goals from Montero and Valenzuela rounded off the 10 Rojiblancos' celebrations of the afternoon.
With this, Chivas Femenil became one of only 3 teams in Liga MX Femenil to put double digits on the scoreboard. In addition, 'Licha' was positioned at the time as the top scorer in the history of the pink circuit, with 139 goals.
Last but not least, this was the 150th win in the history of Guadalajara Femenil. What a way to do it!
