Blaugrana will don unique kit as they chase 29th La Liga title
Barcelona host Real Madrid this afternoon in an El Clasico which could decide the La Liga title race, and will be wearing a one-off jersey in doing so.
Hansi Flick’s Blaugrana can clinch their 29th La Liga title should they get the better of their longest-standing rivals at the Camp Nou.
They will be confident of doing so, too, with Real’s camp beset by controversy in the build-up.
Should Barcelona clinch the title this evening, a unique, one-off kit will be made immortal in their trophy celebrations.
Their jerseys will bear pop star Olivia Rodrigo’s logo during El Clasico as part of their ongoing partnership with Spotify.
The music streaming platform, which boasts nearly 800 million monthly users, signed as Barcelona’s front-of-shirt sponsor in April 2022, also becoming the title sponsor of the Nou Camp stadium.
Since the partnership was agreed, Barcelona have substituted the Spotify logo on their shirts with that of various other artists and bands, including the Rolling Stones, Drake, Coldplay and Karol G.
Rodrigo is the latest to see her brand emblazoned on Barcelona’s iconic maroon-and-blue kits. The men will wear it during El Clasico, while the club’s women’s team wore the limited edition strip in their Liga F meeting with Levante earlier this week.
The move comes just over a month before her new album, ‘you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love’, is released on June 12.

As part of the deal, Rodrigo played an exclusive private concert in Barcelona the night before El Clasico.
“Seeing OR on a Barcelona jersey for El Clásico, I don't even know how to process that,” said the singer, who is responsible for hits including ‘good 4 u’ and ‘traitor’.
“It’s been so fun seeing the jersey come to life and creating a full collection with Spotify and Barca. On top of that, getting to perform for the fans who've been listening since day one, in a city like Barcelona, is going to be so special. That's everything to me. I cannot wait to see them.”
